How to prepare for your White Glove Delivery

After much research and shopping, you’ve officially taken the next step in achieving your best sleep yet, and your new Tempur-Pedic® is on its way! Tempur-Pedic® mattress and base purchases include our complimentary White Glove Delivery shipping service – but what exactly is White Glove Delivery, and how can you prepare for a seamless delivery experience?


What is White Glove Delivery?

Delivery for all Tempur-Pedic® mattresses (excluding the TEMPUR-Cloud®), power bases, and flat foundations include our White Glove Delivery service. On the delivery day of your choosing, our shipping specialists will set up your new items in your room of choice, remove and discard all packaging materials and even dispose of your old mattress and box spring, if requested – all free of charge. Removal is on a one-to-one basis, meaning for every mattress you purchase, our delivery partners will remove one mattress.


Prepare your Home

To ensure your delivery is a smooth, seamless experience, it’s best to prepare your home ahead of time. Here are a few helpful pointers as you prepare for your delivery day:  

  • Clear all walking paths (sidewalks, hallways, stairwells).
  • Measure doorways or narrow areas to ensure your new bed will fit comfortably.
  • Remove any decorative items that may obstruct or hinder delivery from walls and areas surrounding the bed.
  • Secure children and pets in a safe, quiet area until installation is complete.

Once your new product(s) arrives, inspect it and sign off on the delivery waiver. After delivery is complete, we encourage you to register your new product(s). Once registration is complete, the only thing left to do is enjoy!
