The warranty covers visible mattress indentations exceeding 1.5 inches for quilted and 0.75 inches for non-quilted models, physical flaws causing TEMPUR-Material™ to split or crack, and manufacturing defects in zippers. Toppers, pillows, cushions, and accessories qualify if they have material flaws or deterioration preventing shape recovery. Indentations must be measured without pressure, using a straightedge across the affected area.
If you believe your product has developed a defect covered by warranty, you may begin the warranty process using the link below.

Mattresses
A mattress may qualify for warranty coverage if:
- It has developed a visible indentation that exceeds the warranty threshold when measured without applying any weight or pressure to the mattress.
- Quilted-top mattresses: indentation greater than 1.5 inches.
- Non-quilted mattresses: indentation greater than ¾ inch (0.75 inch).
Important: Some mattresses feature a waterfall edge design around the perimeter. This design is intentional and should not be mistaken for sagging or a warranty defect. When measuring an indentation, measure only the sleeping surface of the mattress and not the designed edge profile.
- There is a physical flaw in the mattress that causes the TEMPUR-Material™ to split or crack despite normal use and proper handling.
- There is a manufacturing defect in the mattress cover zipper assembly.
Toppers
A topper may qualify for warranty coverage if:
- There is a physical flaw that causes the material to split or crack despite normal use and proper handling.
- There is deterioration of the material's cell structure that prevents the topper from returning to its original shape.
Pillows and Cushions
A pillow or cushion may qualify for warranty coverage if:
- There is a physical flaw that causes the material to split or crack despite normal use and proper handling.
- There is deterioration of the material's cell structure that prevents the product from returning to its original shape.
Accessories
An accessory may qualify for warranty coverage if:
- There is a physical flaw that causes the material to split or crack despite normal use and proper handling.
- There is deterioration of the material's cell structure that prevents the product from returning to its original shape.
Measuring an Indentation
When evaluating a mattress for a potential warranty claim:
- Measure the indentation from end to end across the affected area using a straightedge.
- Do not apply any weight or pressure to the mattress during measurement.
- For quilted models, the indentation must measure more than 1.5 inches.
- For non-quilted models, the indentation must measure more than ¾ inch.
- If a quarter will not stand upright in the deepest part of the impression, the indentation typically does not meet the warranty threshold. However, the end-to-end straightedge measurement is the determining factor used during the warranty review process.
