The video below walks through the step-by-step process of pairing a remote control with the TEMPUR-Ergo Premier Power Base. The tutorial covers battery installation, the specific button combination sequence, timing requirements, and audio confirmation signals that indicate successful pairing. This applies to both single-base setups and split king configurations with two independent bases.
Note: The following instructions are for single bases or two bases operating independently. Some instructions are time-sensitive, please read the following instructions before attempting to pair.
Step 1: Ensure the base is disconnected from the power source. Please ensure your remote has fresh batteries.
Step 2: Press and hold the FLAT and STOP buttons simultaneously for at least 10-15 seconds.
Step 3: The current RF channel number will be shown on the screen at the top of the remote. The RF channel is the 3-4 digit number that populates in the screen. When the RF channel number begins flashing release the FLAT and STOP buttons.
Step 4: Press the FLAT button to confirm the RF channel. The RF channel number will flash for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Within 30 seconds, reconnect the base power supply to a working outlet. You will hear two "double-clicks" when the set-up is successfully completed. You may use the remote when the RF channel stops flashing. Alternatively, you can press the STOP button to stop the RF channel from flashing.
