A Split Head King mattress is the same size as a traditional King mattress (76"x80") but has a "split" along the middle top-third of the mattress. When paired with an adjuatble Tempur-Pedic Smart Base, the Split Head size configuration enables sleepers to have separate control over features at the top of the bed (ergonomic positioning, lumbar support, respond-to-snore, etcc), while maintaining a seamless sleep surface at the bottom of the bed.
