How do I pair the remote to my Ease Adjustable Base?

Note: The original remote that comes in the box is already paired to the adjustable base. No further action is required. If the remote is not paired with the base, follow the steps below. Some instructions are time-sensitive. Please read the following instructions before attempting to pair.

Step 1: Please ensure your base remote has fresh batteries.

Step 2: Unplug the base Power Cord from your power outlet.  Wait 1 minute, then plug the power cord back into your power outlet. Perform Step 4 within 10 seconds, while the control box is flashing.

For Second Generation Ease: Locate the Battery Backup Box and press the POWER DOWN button twice. A light on the Battery Backup Box will illuminate.

Step 3: Remove the cover from the back of the remote control by sliding it down to expose the PAIR button.

Step 4: Press and hold down the PAIR button. The PAIR button will illuminate and start flashing. When the PAIR button stops flashing, the illuminated light on the Battery Backup Box (Control Box) will go out. Release the PAIR button.

Step 5: Test all remote functions. If you are unable to adjust the base with your remote, please repeat the process again, or try the steps to disable Child Lock on the base, as the remote may be locked. You can find the instructions for deactivating Child Lock here.
