Ensure the bases are synced before attempting to go into Split Fan Mode. To do this, press and hold the Sync button on the back of both remotes simultaneously. The Sync buttons will illuminate and start to flash. When these stop flashing, release the buttons. The speakers from both bases will provide the verbal cue "Connected;" bases are now synced.
Using the Left Side remote control, press and hold the Left Warming Button and the Sync Cooling Button for 6 seconds. The remote backlight will blink twice indicating the bases are now in Split Fan Mode.
